Yes, I finally got a guitar again! I struggled to buy a new guitar now for over a year. Because of my moving to a different continent I couldn't bring my electric guitar with me. I had to leave my beloved instrument behind. I always enjoyed playing music on my electric guitar. The more it saddened me to not have an opportunity to play again in the states.
Since my childhood, I do play music. I learned how to play the flute at the age of 9 and with 13 I fell in love with the idea to play guitar. The following summer I went working and I saved up all my money I got until I could afford a guitar. I am still proud that I accomplished to buy myself an instrument at the age of 14. Working during the summer break was hard, but when I did hold my first guitar in my hands (in the fall) I was thrilled because of my accomplishment.
I started to save up for guitar lessons and with 15 I started to save up for an electric guitar. I still remember how I excited I got when I got home from school and I could practice on my guitar songs that were inspiring to me. The more it was difficult to leave my beloved electric guitar behind in Germany. Often I missed playing some favorite songs and to relax.
A great app for playing songs is "Tab Pro". It's available for your phone or tablet. This app offers you a choice of thousands of guitar tabs and lets you play along with the song for practice. You can adjust the different instruments in their volume, change the tempo, and you can tune your guitar. All in one app.
I am very happy to play again and to simply enjoy music during my free time. I know the neighbors might be annoyed, but hey! Think like this: It's a free concert! I do not care anyway what other people are thinking about my music. It is my music, my fun, and my own little world I do enjoy. In a world full of squares who try to force you to fit in or to hurt you with edgy comments, I feel like the circle who breaks boundaries :)
Fun fact: Did you know that Paul Klee was an awesome musician who considered to start a career in music? He was a very talented violinist and painter! I just admire this guy!
