I found a book about Optical Illusion and I couldn't stop staring at these wonderful illusions. I might have a look at the work of M. C. Escher soon. His work is incredible!
But for now, I am contempt with this book! The examples are really breathtaking. I love the use multiple dimensions, of color contrast in the illustrations. It confuses our senses. Very often our senses are trained to use learned terms and to categorize forms. It is interesting to me to discover how our seeing develops over years of experiences and how easy we can get confused by our own senses. Sometimes we have to learn to see what we really see, and not to categorize and using learned formulas in our everyday perspective.
I will keep these thoughts in my mind when I will continue on projects and especially on illustrations that showcase a three-dimensionality.
